General Health Practices

  • Parents should wash their own hands and the child's hands upon arrival and departure from program.
  • For young children, all new foods should be introduced at home rather than in the centre - this is to reduce the risk of a child having a 1st time allergic reaction while in care.
  • Children will be playing outside for a minimum of 2 hours per day except in severe temperatures or smoggy weather.
  • Immunizations must be current
  • Provide proper clothing based on weather conditions
