We would like to introduce you to the services provided by the Child Development Resource Connection Peel (CDRCP).

Mission Statement

Child Development Resource Connection Peel collaborates with community partners to promote the quality care of children up to 12 years of age and to support the quality of family life.

Recognizing the critical importance of providing Early Childhood Education and resources to children in their formative years, we support families, staff and the community by sharing information, promoting education and providing opportunities to work together

Services CDRCP Provides:

Child Care Info Peel (CCIP):

  • Free telephone information service available to all Peel families and related agencies
  • Provides information on quality child care and subsidy
  • Provides maps of child care locations
  • Info on Ontario Early Years Centres and other services for children at

Coordinated Information Peel (CIP):

  • Free telephone services with information on services for children, youth and adults. Info available on services related to Autism, Dual Diagnoses, Mental Health, Child Protection, Behaviour Management, Infant Development and Special Needs at

Peel Respite Services Access & www.respiteservices.com:

  • Helping families requiring respite services for children and adults with developmental disabilities to make the process of recruiting and contracting their own respite workers easier
  • Connecting families with a registry of respite workers
  • Connecting respite workers with job opportunties and related training

  • Information on Peel community respite services, training, events and other related resources

Offsite Training Consultant:

  • Early Childhood and Parent Education Sessions offered at child centres, businesses, schools, OEYC or other locations of your choice
  • Program Consultants to enhance quality

Resource Connection Peel:

Training

  • Provides training opportunities to community based agencies, families and services providers
  • Provides a monthly calendar of training events and a quarterly newsletter

Resource Centre

  • Professional resource library that is designed to offer resources such as: reference materials, books, videos, family support bins and on-site equipment to enhance the quality of child care in the Region of Peel, and provide networking opportunities for supervisors, front line staff, parents and anyone interested in children 0- 12 years of age

PEP Start Program:

  • Developmental screening consultants for children up to five years of age with no fee to parents

Home Child Care Network

  • Providing valuable information on child safety and health, handouts for parents as well as information on educational training opportunities and workshops, for informal child care providers. Please contact Child Care Info Peel at (905) 890-9432, for more information.

Brampton West/ Mississauga Ontario Early Years Centre:

  • The Ontario Early Years Centre (OEYC) offers a range of free education and parenting services for all parents, caregivers and their children to 6 years of age
