Welcome to The Resource Connection!

The Resource Connection is a leading edge and innovative service. Our mandate is to support our clients by providing a comprehensive and diverse range of quality services that support the development and well being of children and families in the Region of Peel.

The Resource Connection is funded by The Ontario Trillium Foundation, Royal Bank of Canada and ING. Donations of equipment and resources have also been received from individuals, associations, foundations, and agencies. All donations and suggestions are welcome.

 

Resource Connection Hours

  • Tuesday 4:00pm - 8:30pm
  • Wednesday 12:00pm -3:00pm
  • Thursday 4:00pm - 8:30pm
  • Saturday 9:30am - 3:30pm
  • A reminder that loans, equiment room and sales are to be cleared 15 minutes prior to closing.
  • In case of serious weather conditions please call 905-507-9360 Ext 311 to inquire about closure.

Holiday Hours and days off for the Resource Connection

The Resource Connection will be closed for Saturdays of statutory holidays. These include New Year's Day, Family Day, Easter, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Branching Out ... Linking Literacy, Diversity and Early Childhood Development

A multi year initiative at CDRCP. The Ontario Trillium Foundation has granted us with funds to develop and enhance the wealth of resources and training that we provide. We are committed to increasing the amount of multicultural, anti bias, multilingual, inclusion materials available for loan in our library and housing training opportunities that support this focus. Honouring Diversity and Becoming Anti Bias

Check out this fabulous resource created by Ms. Alka Burman, Early Literacy Consultant, Ontario Early Years/Region of Peel. Alka has developed an anti bias resource booklet of fantastic activities. Learn the importance of anti bias programming for children and check to see if your classroom and programming meet the grade. This is a wealth of information for all Early Childhood Educators and Parents.
