Raising the Bar in Peel Participation Benefits Mentoring Opportunity for mentorship and support from other early learning and care programs. Networking meetings throughout the year to assist with completing the requirements for RTBP. Professional Development Train the Trainer Setting the Stage for Successful Behaviour - 3 day session. Various sessions available throughout the year at a reduced fee for RTBP participants. Reduced registration fee for annual Life Long Learning conference. Certicates provided at all sessions.
Membership Membership to Child Development Resource Connection Peel. Marketing Website - all RTBP programs are listed. Information available for parents and professionals. Brochures and bookmarks for current and perspective clients. Resources Resource library materials available. Resources shared at networking meetings and through email.
Peer Review Day Peer reviewers are volunteers from RTBP participating programs who commit to 1 or 2 days for reviewing the RTBP program profile binders. These peer reviewers sign a Code Of Ethics and Confidentiality form annually. Peer review is seen as a mentoring opportunity and experienced peer reviewers are paired with first timers. A peer veview committee reviews the applications and comfirmation letters are sent out to successful applicants.
Master Binder Submission Master binder submissions are used for multi-site programs and agencies. Each section in the program profile binder states whether or not that section can be submitted as part of a master binder submission. For example - Section 8: Policies and Procedures.
