Is there a fee to participate in Raising the Bar in Peel?

Yes.  Annual membership fee is required at the beginning of each profile year.


When are the Raising the Bar Learning and Mentoring Meetings?

Programs will be invited to three Learning and Mentoring meetings throughout the year.  These meetings provide networking, resource sharing, and professional education.  Meetings are held in September, January, and June.


How does a Quality Initiatives Mentor support a participating program?

  • Providing one-on-one support with completion of the Raising the Bar in Peel Reflective Profile, at your program, or on 'Working Together Wednesdays'.
  • Recommending upcoming professional education and learning opportunities.
  • Attending a staff meeting or lunch and learn to engage educators in Raising the Bar in Peel.
  • Highlighting resources available from CDRCP Resource Connection.
  • Connecting programs to current and relevant resources (CCEYA, CECE, Minitry of Labour etc.)
  • Facilitating Learning and Mentoring meetings to allow programs to participate in collaborative inquiry.
  • Hosting networking sessions for educators to share and inform each other in regards to recommeneded practices.
